I usually set up everything and then I render in the background. As it renders, I move the image around to check for mistakes. And if I find one, then I cancel the render. Fix it and render again. So I tried doing that in Poser 14, but I couldn't find a cancel button. Is it there? Am I blind? I don't see it.
Poser did seem to zone out while I was rendering. I couldn't click on anything. Poser just kept rendering and ignoring me. Couldn't move the image around. Couldn't do anything. Even when rendering was done, I couldn't click on anything. Not the menus. Not anything. I right clicked on the Poser icon in the task bar and said close program. It did ask if I wanted to save the image. I said yes. I reopened Poser. I went to the render tab, but I still don't see a cancel button. But maybe it doesn't show unless you have an active render.

I just checked Poser 13 and I don't see a cancel button there either. So maybe I'm mis-remembering. I could swear I used to cancel the render if I noticed something wrong. But I don't see a way in Poser 13 or 14.

Thanks. I see it now that you point it out. Those buttons could stand out a little more!
