I still can't activate this thing.
Daz could not establish CMS.

Is there a version of PostgreSQL installed (not the Valentina to postgreSQL converter)? If you start DS do you see instances of postgresql in Task manager (as background processess, so you will need to click the Show More button and then scroll down past the applications that show on the Task Bar)? What security software are you using?

The version is from DAZ's latest download from their site. I use Bitdefender security and a VPN. Taskmaster has 7 PostgreSQL server instances, all 0%.

That was a tool for convertiing the Valentina database used in DS 4.5 and a version or two after that to a PostgreSQL database, introduced n a slightly later version and the only database supported from 4.9 on. "installing" it did the conversion and that was it, it didn't do anythiing thereafter.@RHaseltine- What is the Valentina version used?

So it is getting the start up message from DS and launching, but iit is then not communicating. Try changing th port number in Edit>Preferences>CMS Settiings (say, add 101 - the actual value doesn't matter) then relaunch DS.@RHaseltine- What is the Valentina version used?

CMS Settings uses port 1024, which prevents resetting. I used the default and other numbers.
