Two new base figures have entered the Marketplace quite silently: Nova and Neo.
The reason I mention them here is that they have the arms in 'A' pose in the zero position. This means they should be a proper basis for conforming garments made in Marvelous, and that dynamic garments can start from a zerorather than from a forced 'A' pose. Just less errors to make there.
I purchased Nova.
Her rigging is Genesis 8 style, with one jiunt per DOF. That will restrict the application, but maybe she takes on G8 poses.
I spent a few minutes to create an 'MDBasis figure and A and T poses to set her up for the MDBridge. First experments look OK> The figure has a mediium dense mesh and he MDBase mesh exports quickly. I used the gigure geometry but I took out the internals (mouth, teeth, tongue, mosy eye parts) to get a clean shell, rapid simulation and avoid 'eatups'. Crotch area is not detailed so no problems there. Brows and lashes are conformers so again easy.
She comes with jeans, T-shirt and boots.. As a starter I gave this Runtime novice a decent (dynemic) cloth to wear. Will see how she behaves, and try an MD based conformer later.

just adding: Primorge has made a short description and mesh shots in this thread:
Also noted I was mistaken about the T-shirt. It is a bra-top.
Being a novice, the habit above suits her better ;-)

I do not expect there will be any updates for these figures, alas!

Popping up this thread in view of the fbx export from Jinny development. Nova and Neo have the default A pose and therefore now can enjoy a much wider application and clothing support.
Anyone having any experience yet?
