Let me start by saying that I have been trying to get help from DAZ directly for months but beyond the automated response I have not heard anything back from them. If you can help at all I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks I am an amateur 3D artist. My main platform is Daz3d. I use it to create pin ups and scenes. I hope to create a graphic novel one day using images I've created. I am working on a HP pavilion dv7 laptop that runs off of an Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00 GHz, 16 GB of installed RAM with a 64 bit operating system.

Daz 3d is a free software (they get you by selling you assets to use in the program) I have been using it for years and purchased hundreds of dollars of assets. In the most recent update the program stopped working so I deleted it from my computer and went to reinstall it thinking that would enable the platform to work properly. When I ran into major problems with the platform that's usually what I've done to correct the issues.

However, I got a nasty surprise. When I tried to reload the software I got the following error message:

"The path specified in the "Package Archive" field, on the "Downloads" page of the "Settings" dialog, is not currently available. Make sure the drive is connected to your computer and that your computer recognizes the drive, then try again."

I have no idea where the "Package Archive" field is. If someone could direct me to it so I can change the settings to download and install the program that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
