Since all the updates with 11.2 and Poser pro 2014 I get frustrated each time I try to use. Nothing saved previously shows up...Looking for textures etc..Now question..All the items I previously saved had the full character body with textures etc...Wondering where they went???? When I feel like smacking myself on side of my head I will try to open and work on it. So far all back/blue

Did you import all your runtimes?
did you check the file locations to ensure the textures are still there?

runtimes are all imported and added . Check file locations of textures? Problem. Seems I lost all. Do the upgrades have anything to do with this?

the upgrades do not remove your files.
Have you tried Voidtools Everything to look for the files ?
are the files stored locally or externally ?

I am of the understanding that there is an issue with the public folder,
it has been recommended to move the library from public to another location.
I would recommend moving it to an external drive, but if this is not an option
perhaps creating a new folder ( something like c:/poser ) and moving it to that
location will help.

From what I understand, it's Windows' protection trying to keep applications from acessing files in Windows' main folders. So yes, keeping your libraries away from any folders created by Windows (Program Files folder, Users folder etc) should solve your problems.

I'd advise to never let any Poser version to use libraries on Windows folders, yes. I've been avoiding that for years. Me thinks the installers shouldn't ever suggest to put them there, but I think that's a problem that gets overlooked with new versions.
