Any reason why rendering is done in separate window instead of on screen???? Going back to Daz3 is was this way. Daz4 not so

You can do a spot render either in the viewport or in a new screen, so you could just select the whole screen and render that way.

Still not what I am looking for. Spot render does not hold the scene to current window. I tried to frame the scene to get the whole image but then I couldnt get rid of the spot render on the screen.

Still do not understand why you cant render the scene and have the results on screen so you can save.

If you click on Render Settings > General > Dimensions you'll get a lot of settings (presets) for the render. You may also select your own dimensions.

IRAY has an option to render everything in the view port if that's what you were asking. The dimensions are whatever the dimensions of the view port are. The rendering is done to a second screen though. I don't know if the same option exists under 3Delight rendering though I assume it does. Don't have DAZ set up at work.

3Delight does the same thing, renders to a new window. Either way, viewport dimensions are default. We can change that in Render->Editor->General. Pick dimension preset. If you want an odd size or aspect ratio, pick custom. You can also save your settings to a new preset.
