From Character Creator Pipeline version 3.02, users are allowed to export characters from Poser, and bring them into CC via Transformer function.

Compatible Characters: Michael 4 and Victoria 4 characters

Conversion Process

Go to File > Export > FBX to export FBX file from Poser
Set the Export Range

Select "Multi frame export"
Keep the Frame Range as default

No need to change any settings in the Select Objects window

Set up the Export Options

Load preset: choose Unity5

Uncheck the option "Bake transparency to diffuse texture alpha"

Click the OK button to export FBX file
Import the FBX file by pressing the Transformer button in Character Creator
Select the "BASIC" mode to start the conversion *Please note the "ADVANCED" mode won't work with characters exported from Poser because of the different texture saving structure.
You can refer to Online Manual or Tutorial to continue the settings

Known Issues & Workaround

You may find some objects became invisible after using Transformer, which is caused by Poser automatically setting the Opacity value to zero if there is texture in Opacity channel when exporting FBX.

To solve this issue: Select the object, go to Material Setting on the Modify Panel, and adjust the Opacity value to 100.

Importing clothes with invalid skin data will cause Character Creator to crash.

There is no positive workaround at the moment. We will update the program to accommodate these kind of files in a future patch.

I notice this refers to just Michael 4 and Victoria 4.

Are earlier figures like Aiko 3, specifically, a figure derived from her body, LittleFox's "Melody", not supported?

BEWARE!! I was so excited about the prospect of exporting my Poser characters to use in iclone7. I got my husband to buy a Character Creator 3/iclone7 bundle plus some extras from the Reallusion site for me as a Christmas gift. But the bundle that is offered here as well as the one I purchased straight from Reallusion doesn't even do the thing that we Poser users have bought it for. I used the trial then got the Reallusion bundle that was just like the one we are offered on Renderosity except I opted for the 3DXchange instead of Iray. However when I loaded it, the FBX importing function was not there even though it was in the trial version; even though the ad for the seminar I took doesn't reference Character Creator 3 Pipeline but includes the statement that the new CC3 give us all these capabilities. The ONLY bundles offered by Reallusion that have the Character Creator 3 Pipeline are the Holiday bundles offered on their site which I originally thought were the same as the thing I bought. Only after I made my purchase did I realize that we weren't offered the "pipeline" in our bundle or the bundle that was offered to me in the email from Reallusion. I am $398 in, and in order to get the pipeline capabilities I got this for in the first place, I have to pay an additional $149 for the privilege (And that's the "member" price). I have now paid for and loaded an entire system that doesn't do what I need it to do and I am too ashamed and embarrassed to tell my husband that I have wasted the money he gave me to buy this gift. I believe that the more appropriate response is to figure out how to provide those who were interested in the product with the functionality that RL promoted. I believe the best remedy would be to offer Renderosity members the bundle that included Pipeline.... the one that was found on the RL website but which for some reason was not offered to us, here. This is the request I intended to make to RL. However if there is something about the functionality that you are concerned about such that you suggest that I get a refund instead, please let me know. The CC Edition of the packages we offer here is the Pipeline Edition, because the Transformer function is what Renderosity users need. That's why you see different packages in RL Store and Renderosity Store. That will be great if you can point out what most confuses you when purchasing, we will enhance this part to prevent this from happening again. Thank you!

The Package information you offered here did not reference Pipeline. The bundles offered by you here only reference Character Creator 3 ("CC3") in the description not Character Creator 3 Pipeline ("CC3P"). Even the icon/graphic used is the Character Creator 3 icon/graphic NOT the CC3P icon/graphic. There is no reference to Pipelline throughout the offering... only CC3. Therefore anyone reading the offering would presume that they were one and the same until after the purchase. If this issue had been made clear in the offering by referring to CC3P instead of CC3, I believe there would not have been such a high level of frustration with this product. Because I did not see the CC3P referenced I purchased the bundle directly from Reallusion and was constrained to purchase CC3P from Reallusion for an additional $149.

I could have been doing something wrong as I am very new to CC3 and Iclone. Although I have had a fairly good amount of success converting v4 characters to CC3. I am aware of the process of converting the hivewire3d characters through Daz Studio, but I have a lot of content for Dawn and Dusk that is poser only. I would rather just convert all of my characters from poser anyway.
