I have 300 PNG images that I have created an action for as a Black and white alpha channel. I want to save them as PNG's into a separate folder but Adobe Photoshop will only let me save them as a PSD or Tiff. How can I get around this? Cheers

When you go to save as use the little drop down arrow in the corner and you will see multiple file formats to save as including png in the list see screen shot below

Ohhhh interesting, as I usually choose Save For Web instead of Save As, and then choose the format I want. (See screenshot)

This gives you a nice added option of saving with a transparent background if you want (it appears under that drop down list in the screenshot).

I have used that option as well Miss B but in current version of Photoshop that option is under export and it has become a legacy option that usually mean Adobe might be doing away with it in the future

Ahhhh, OK. I never updated from CS2, so didn't know they had done that.

I noticed the change went into effect this year with the most current version
