People interested in Shade and Daz figures might be interested in the forums that focus on Shade and Daz. Looking through forums at Daz, there are several threads dedicated to Shade because Daz offered it for sale. Daz users report that Shade does a great job exporting and importing meshes with a variety of file formats and several other positive issues. But as far as supporting Daz figures through fbx, they report "...just don't expect the rigging to work." I general, I recommend people interested in Shade and Daz figures go to the Daz forum's posts that discuss Shade, or the Shade forum here at 'rosity.

I know that I have asked people to post Daz figures being manipulated and rendered in Shade, but nothing so far - certainly nothing like what Misty has shown for Daz Genesis 3 figures in Carrara, which is officially NOT supported. Similarly, I bet a lot of money that people have gotten Daz figures to work acceptably in Shade as a work around, but to find out how I recommend going to the Shade forum.
