Hi,

I have a number of important questions regarding non-embedded props and morph targets. This is only my second product without embedded geometries and the first time with Morphs.

I imported my OBJs into Poser and then used "GeomStripper" to strip the geometry. I then fixed the file path names so that the pp2 file pointed to the correct OBJ file in the correct geometries folder.

Now here's where I am unsure - I'm adding morph targets to the stripped geometry and saving the prop. I don't know if, by doing this, that the geometry gets re-embedded, if you know what I mean.

  1. Once I have stripped the intial geometry, what am I supposed to do when adding morph targets to make sure that when I save the prop that it fits to Renderosity product rules?

  2. Does the option "Use External Binary Morph Targets" in the preferences have anything to do with this?

  3. With stripped geometry, do I need the PMD or XMP files?

OK and one final question, off topic:

  1. When I save the materials in the mat room, how can I ensure that when I click the material again to load it up that the nodes are not all 'offscreen', making the material workspace look empty?

Someone gave me a link to this issue but it was a dead link.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Paul
