The most interesting photos Etna during 2014 until today!

Nice Clive. A few of my mates and I have just done it too!

I couldn't wait to shave it off though. Even though I washed it I could still smell the last meal I had!!!!

Lucky you, Andrew, the guy who challenged me shaved his off because his wife refused to kiss him!
Mine is getting grey, one one side! It is history too, now.

Etna looks like she has been quite active this year, Maria Concetta! Quite a site to see!

In August Brady managed to remove the pad of a back paw on something sharp. Poor boy, he had to wear a 'cone of shame' for a week or so.

This summer, a little lost dog has cheered only for a few days the live of my grandchildren... We have tracked down the owner and came to take it away with great regret of the kids!

cfulton posted Tue, 09 December 2014 at 6:38 AM
I am glad that the dog found its home again, looks like a real character!

The house that Marton built! Taken in May this year, it is now completed and habitable.

Ouch, Martin, I know that feeling all too well. Had to replace the frizzed HDD on my mothers PC as well this year. Thankfully we were able to recover her memoirs and photos - at great expense!

Your daughter is beautiful, Clive, and how wonderful it is to be 16!

2014 was my son’s first year at High School. This was taken in January when he tried on his new uniform – before a haircut too!

Finally, finally, we have a reliable internet connection! I'm sorry to have missed so much, especially in the forum, and in particular the monthly challenges. I see that Clive included my favorite picture from our family's biggest event of 2014 ... Trent & David's wedding ... thanks, Clive! :)
I looked back through my gallery for 2014, and the task of narrowing down a defining event is daunting. 2014 was a year of travel for us. We started in January in Texas, and went through (in order) Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and back to Texas.
You won't see many (if any) pictures of the road out the window of the motorhome in my gallery because I think they're basically sort of boring, but this really IS the most representative thing I can think of for 2014. This is Highway 25 in Wyoming. I could have chosen any one of a hundred shots just like it from any one of those states we went through, but this was a day that stood out in my mind. We finally found a road through Wyoming that we liked, and it was a very good day. :)

The last day of 2014 offered us a show unusual for us... I live in the hills surrounding Catania and it's very rare that it snows at 300m asl!
Etna is still covered by clouds, I hope tomorrow on a beautiful sunny day to be able to photograph in all its splendor!
Best wishes to all of you for a Happy New Year! :)
