In searching web I have seen carrara3.0 but what difference between carrara8?
Can carrara3.0 do scenes and be sent to Daz studio?
Can carrara8 do scenes and be sent to Daz studio?
Yes,bryce can do scenes and be sent to Daz each other.
And vue can be sent to poser.
Carrara and vue and bryce, which is the best choice to do scenes, which better be sent to Daz studio or poser?

Thanks

Carrara 3 wont work with any DAZ/Poser content. That build was long before poser content could be used. Carrara 3 is years out of date.

No C8 wont send scenes to Studio; why on earth would you want it to? Studio is inferior for rendering.

Bryce can send scenes to Studio? I know Studio can send scenes to Bryce, didn't think it worked the other way. Same with Poser and Vue.

But why on earth would you want to send scenes from Vue, Bryce, or Carrara to Studio or Poser? Carrara, Bryce, and Vue have much better render engines then Studio or Poser.

The way it works is you stage the scene in Studio, then send to Bryce to finish and render. Same with Poser and Vue. Carrara has no need to send anything anywhere. It's quite capable of doing it all on it's own; excluding Genesis and G2F/M.

Which is the best for scenes depends on what you want to render. Both Bryce and Vue have better atmospherics then Carrara so would do huge out door scenes more realistically. Carrara renders pretty much everything better then Studio or Poser.

For me Studio is just a suport app for carrara. Sending scenes to Studio from carrara would be several steps backward.

There was recently a discussion about Carrara vs Bryce vs Vue in the DAZ forums that might answer a lot of your questions. I can be found here, with the detailed list starting with Carrara 2 here.

Carrara 3 was good, but it didn't have nearly as many features as Carrara 8.5, and as Stan pointed out, it didn't have any support for DAZ/Poser content. A general history of Carrara that gives the new features added/improved with each version can be found here.

A video that one of the regulars at the DAZ Carrara forums just did which gives a general overview of Carrara can be found here.

Correction to the above post (the post edit time limits are really a pain here)

One of the best features of Carrara 8.5 us, IMO, the fact that you can load Poser and Daz Studio content directly without having to import it (it appears in the "content" tab - if you have Daz Studio installed it will detect your content right away, and if you have any Poser runtimes, you can tell it to detect those as well

Windows 7 uses about 1.2 gig, meaning you have very little memory left to run apps like Bryce. The only fix is to increase you comps memory. But if you are running 32bit it wont help much, W7 32bit can only use 2 gig.

It may be time to upgrade/ get a new comp.
