Hello

Okay I know this must be real simple but I am not able to obtain this result.

 

I open Carrara pick scene and import poser scene.  I click on keyframe and then using mouse I zoom in for closeup and when I come to the 10 second mark I click on keyframe again.

 

Well when I go back to the beginning the scene does not change nor does it play..
please advise and thank you very much/

if you are using the little magnafying glass, that zooms your view but not the camera.  You would either have to use the keyboard camera movement keys or if you use the mouse on the left there are 3 groups of icons.  The top group is object manipulation.  The next group is Camera movements.  Tracking (including zoom) and a little round one that has Dolly, Pan and Bank.  Those will keyframe.

If you turn on the production frame when you use the magnafying glass you will see that nothing in relationship to the production frame changes just zooms in or out as a whole.

Your Poser scene may be importing with a camera also. Make sure that you have selected the 'correct' camera to render the animation.
