Subject: The Doomsday Machine

Hey all,

Working on my next Star Trek project and I made the Doomsday machine. At the moment, I don't know if I'll be posting a full length image of it so I thought I'd post it here as sort of a WIP.

I'm digging it so far though!

Here's a second render. This usese the final model that I used in my latest gallery post.

It was a fun project but the throat was kind of tricky!

I re-used the backdrop from a render I did for Carrara 3DExpo.

This is my interpretation of what the Doomsday machine looks like when scooping up debris for lunch! Even though the sunlight is from the wrond direction, maybe it's just a secondary star in the distance.

I'm probably going to redo this whole image just for lighting. If it comes out, I'll put it in the gallery.
