Decided to finally build the K7 space station.

This is just todays work (about four hours).  All the modeling is done but the texturing hasn't even started!

Not a difficult model.  The real trick has been to find references that I could trust.  Turns out there really aren't particular references for this model that are very accurate.

This was rebuilt for the Deep Space 9 episode which re-visited the Trouble with Tribbles classic Trek episode.  The research team which rebuilt K7 did a lot of research which I trust and it's the pictures of their model of K7 which I'm relying on.

There was a plastic model kit released of K7 which is not accurate at all.  However, many people have built CG versions of that model.

I'll be posting as I go but I suspect I'll be done with this by the end of the week.  The texturing that needs to be done here isn't particularly challenging.
