Hi all,
Can't change the rotation pivot for edit window: when rotating the viewport it rotates no longer around the selected geometry but always around the center of the universe. Rather unhelpful... Can't find the option in the interface or Help.
Any ideas? Thx in advance..

Check the Editor window for menu Cameras > Navigation or regular menu Edit > Preferences > Navigation.

In 11.5 have a look at Edit > Preferences (Ctrl+E)
under "document" is a dropdown for setting the camera rotation.
Should be set to "object", if you want your cam to pivot around the selected object.
The above setting can be changed for each camera via the viewport menu...
In your viewport go to menu Edit > Configure (Shift+V)
In the attributes window goto the "View" tab.
Click on the small triangle in front of "linked camera" to unfold it's settings.
Under the "object" tab you can set the "Rotation".
If it's set to "default", it will obey the settings from "Preferences".
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
