Try this... it MIGHT work... Since it still shows up in the uninstall, you will probably be able to do this.
go to his address and download the free version... the one you will see at the top of the "page" install it or run it from a thumb drive.. if CS3EXT shows up.. do an advanced uninstall which includes the registry entries and anything "left over". Lou.

Has that happen to me once.. trying to remember how I fixed it.. it was quite a while ago. Lou.
[EDIT] which one is saying it needs to finish install?.. If I remember correctly, the one I had trouble with.. I ended up telling it to install.. then caught it and told it that it was an uninstall.... the ONE time before that, now that I think of it... I restarted the install of the one giving me trouble, then when it was done, uninstalled using something similar to IOBit.. they gadn't invented it yet, lol.

now that there is nothing in the reg that is Adobe cs3ext when you try to install said software it still tell's you it cant and stops, quote you cannot install two adobe software's at the same time and exit's
no different then before
I hope that I am comming across ok .
If I dont fix this then cs6 will not go on,and boy that will be money down the tube.(potthanks for all your time and help

ermm.. two things.. are you running a 64-bit system? that is.. for example, Windows7 64 bit?... Also.. do you have the install discs for CS3 EXT?.. one other thing... are you trying to install an upgrade?.. as I recall.. if you remove the original app, the upgrade will not install. Lou.

win7 64,upgrade, it installed fine before it had a problem would only work half the time.Adobe said to reinstall that is when the trouble started

lol... did you check BOTH sets of program files? the "Program Files (x86)" and "Program files"? Lou.
