Whether you just got here, or have been here for years, we welcome you to the Renderosity Poser Forum!  Please keep an eye on this top post, as we will make updates on goings on in the community, on the site, and in the Poser area at Renderosity on a regular basis, updating this thread for everyone to see!

Around here, we have the Poser Gallery, the Poser Forum, the Poser Freestuff, Poser Tutorials, and the Poser Community page. We also have a Wiki, and it's a work in progress.

Here in the Renderosity Poser Forum, our goal is to create an excellent learning environment for those of us wanting to learn new aspects to make our Poser-including artwork better. We strive to create an environment that is not only conducive to learning, but also to kicking back and having fun, and getting to know one another.

This means that, if someone posts something that you don't agree with, but is not a TOS violation, you do not have the right to call them a troll in-thread.  We simply ask that, if you don't like a post or a poster, click away and don't read the thread/post. Thread removal is usually done at the discretion of the Moderator staff, and is usually discussed at great length before removal, unless it is obvious that a thread will be a problem.  We respectfully ask that forum members remember that there are real people on the other side of the screen, with real feelings and thoughts, and that if you can't respond respectfully we ask that you please not respond at all.

If you have a product in the Renderosity Marketplace you want to show off, please do so in the Marketplace Showcase forum.  Off-site advertisement is not allowed in the forum.  If your product is off-site, and you wish to advertise on Renderosity, please use the Advertising Contact Form.

If you've got a new free item you want to advertise, please place a post in the Freestuff Forum first before posting here, and if you post here, it needs to be a heads up, with a link to the freestuff forum.

If you're advertising a contest, please do so in the Contest Announcement forum.  If you would like to sponsor a contest, please contact contests@renderosity.com for more information on what is necessary to do so.

If you have a Copyright or Ethics concern, please post it in the Copyright Laws and Ethical Standards forum.

At the bottom of each post entry form, there are flag boxes for Content Advisory.  If you post an image that contains violence or nudity, or if the body of your post contains what would be considered a swear word, please use one of the flags. 

The Terms of Service applies to the whole of Renderosity.  If there is something that you don't understand or need help with, please contact a staff member, and we will do everything we can to help you.

If you have a site emergency, and you don't know who to contact (like spam at 2am CST), please go to the Who's Online page, and look for a staff member.  If you see a staff member (the box will be at the top), please contact them to help as soon as they can.  There  may not always be someone from the Poser team online to help, but there may be someone from elsewhere on the site, and they'll do everything they can to help you.
