Does it still have a spline modeler? ( Love dat!)
Will it support older models from C5?
Is it worth it, or would I do better with C7pro for the same price?
I currently use 5.2 Pro, but I'd like some of the new capabilities.

Yup. It has most of the modeling tools that the Pro ver. has. I've had no probs importing models I built in C5. Here's a link to the comparison. http://www.daz3d.com/i/software/carrara8/comparison?_m=d

Hi, unfortunately theres no upgrade in Spline modeler in Carrara for now, so anything will be compatible. maybe we can see mor echanges in the next release of Carrara...
