I use C8 Pro and Poser 8. I added a subfolder to my Poser 8 runtime. I saved a morphed character to the subfolder. I then went to C8 Pro and to my surprise, the folder was not in the content box for my Poser 8 runtime. So, I went to Windows 7 and checked the file structure for my Poser 8 runtime. Sure enough, the subfolder was not there. I went back to Poser - it still lists the missing subfolder in the Poser 8 runtime and gives me access to the character's CR2.
Where oh where could my little file be?
I tried using Poser 8's native library. I then tried another experiment with Dimension 3D's library script. Both had the same result. Poser says it created a file subfolder and continues to access it. The file subfolder cannot be found in Windows 7 or Cararra.
The Poser Forum told me it was a UAC Redirect problem in Windows 7 - how C8 Pro was programmed. As I say, the content is still accessible in Poser.
Any suggestions? Or, should I just give up on using Poser content in C8?
