Hi everyone,
I'm absolutely brand spankin' new to Carrara. In fact the only reason I have it is because Carrara 7 Pro came free on a disc in a recent edition of 3D World magazine, a publication out of the UK. I've never used Carrara before but it sure looks intriguing.
My only problem is that I can't get it to start up. I've installed it, and it looks ready to go, but when I try to open it, it says
"Please enter your name and the serial number of the application".
Obvioudly the name part I can do, but the serial number? There isn't one on the disc, or on the little cardboard sleeve it came in, or even in the magazine, either. I've e-mailed the publishers of the magazine a week ago, and have yet to hear anything back from them. I'm kinda stuck.... has anyone else heard anything like this, and if so, how can I get the info I need to get it to work? If anyone has any idea how I can obtain a the serial number, please let me know.
