Hello and thanks for reading this...
Is there a way to limit the area for a surface replicator? For example: If I had a terrain I was applying a number of plants or tree to, but wanted an area free of them, how would I let the surface replicator know?
Thanks! I'm using Carrara 8 Pro...

This tutorial at HowieFarke's site shows the use of a distribution map to control where things get replicated.GreenHawke posted Tue, 06 July 2010 at 1:48 PM

That is an excellent tutorial. I had used the surface replicator many times before, but the "dithering" of the distribution maps was something I might never have thought of myself.
