It's been a while since I used Carrara for anything but morphs and tweaking Poser content, but with the new tools available in Carrara 8 I decided to get back into it a bit more seriously. That said I find myself at a loss. It seems the move manipulator (or rather the move function in the basic move maiupulator and the universal manipulator) moves the hot point bu not the object, (primitive or vertex, etc. ) in the assemble room.
I can move the hot point and hit obj>ho button in the transform section and the object moves to the hotpoint, but I just can;t figure out how to make the primitive drag with the manipulator.
I seem to remember this happening before but at this point I'm stumped and can;t find any help in the manual.
BTW any word on when an update to the manual might be do? It's really hard to catch up on the new bells and whistles when they aren't even covered by the manual.
Thanks

Just hit your Capslock key and all will be back to normal. Capslock is the key to move the hotpoint.

The manual is still a work in progress. Here's a link to what they have so far-http://artzone.daz3d.com/wiki/doku.php/pub/faq/software_carrara/carrara/documentation_previews

Thanks guys! Makes me feel ashamed that I couldn't remember that! Also thanks for the tip on the docs.
