Hi,
I have not 3ds max,Cinema 4D,LightWave,Maya,Softimage: what must I choose:Vue 8 xStream or Vue 8 Infinite?

1, I personal prefer download. The manual is on download and CD version always a PDF document.2, Maintenance is a contract that includes a number of benefits. You subscribe for a year and get all upgrades during the subscription period, including free upgrades to all *.5 and full versions. Next year you pay only the next subscription and so on. You can read at e-on for more details.

What is the difference with Vue 8 Infinite DVD Case?
Without maintenance, impossible to update/upgrade!

You can always update your Vue; 8.1 - 8.4 are free updates (8.4 Infinite - Build 50777 is a Beta). Next update 8.5 will cost money. With maintenance plan next point and full update are free.

For example I started Infinite 7.0 with maintenance plan (+$400) . I got in first year 7.5 and 8.0 free. Next subscription period i got an sale offer for maintenance plan with $299! In this period I will get Infinite 8.5 and possible 9.0 free.

Yeah and if your subscription runs out (which it will) then you will pay just like everyone else the full price for the full update. The Maintenance Plan is really just paying EXTRA for .5 upgrades. Skip it and save the money.
The rest of the goodies that come with the plan are just fluff.
I'd go with Vue Personal because it is free.

What 3D app do you have already? And what are you hoping/planning on using Vue for?
