Hello everyone,
Can any of you tell me how to create Lighting across the Night Sky and Animate it?
I am doing a Storm scene with an airplane and want to have the lighting strike the plane.
If any of have a Tut on it could you please point me to it.
I could do it in Sony Vegas but I'm also doing a comic book on the same story and I kinda want to do all the FX in Carrara.
Or, I know! maybe we all can figure this out as a class.

Ah...sorry I answer you late at night here. If you can do a lightning in Vegas you can create it and map in a plane with alpha channel (you will need to animate in Vegas and save the frames so you can have the lightning animation in the plane in Carrara). Other try is using the Tree editor to create something like a lightning and use glow to create it.
