Hi everybody September 1st is my first day in work for over a week. I might be busy! So I'm going to set this new challenge running slightly early. It's slightly more difficult than others I have done. But I'm sure you will all get the hang of it really quickly.

Bad luck Ronnie!!!
You may have to go back into that strange place called the kitchen for this one! But maybe not I'm sure you will all be able to find loads of examples. I have listed a few above to get you going.
Most of all have fun!!!

I didn't mean the link from the Photography page, I meant a link from the previous month's challenge. Sorry to be unclear. If you announce the new challenge as a post in the old one, and provide a link, everyone who participated last month will know about the new challenge without having to remember! It's like advertising ... Personally, I need all the help I can get to remember everything I'm doing here! LOL!

Oh yeah, for you youngins out there, beside the CD and a cassette, the other round one is a 45 rpm record and the square thing is an 8 track tape!
I know someone out there is thinking "OMGosh, this lady still owns an 8 track???? Get her out of here"!!! LOL :P

I do have an MP3 player I was going to photograph with these items, but didn't have access to it at the time I was taking the shot!
Now here is the question:
I have already posted 3....... can I post more? Or am I done until the next challenge?

Yep, this is the same object. I do the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for our company.
The engineers do the design on paper, which I then convert to a schematic diagram just visible in the top right of the image.
This is then used to do the layout of copper (actually the etching away of copper) visible in the screen on the top left.
The electronic files then go off to a manufacturer who does the etching of the copper coated fibre boards, bottom left and in the centre under the magnifying glass. Voila, electronic forms to material form!
I took this about an hour ago, before heading home for the day.
Cheers,
Clive
auntietk posted Wed, 16 September 2009 at 4:43 PM
Nice job, Clive! I work for an electronics manufacturing firm as well, and this is verrrrrry familiar to me! I knew I'd been there too long when one day I was reading an article in the National Geographic about too many PCBs in the water, and how dangerous that was. I'm thinking ... ??? ... WTF? All of a sudden I realized they were NOT talking about the item pictured above! LOL!

Actually, I had to put the food bowl there to get my shot and fortunately, nosey Cleo came along and put her head in the bowl just as I was framing the shot of Raven in the box. So it made my end product a bit better than planned.
