Subject: Can one make a tank track in Carrara?

Hi gang, need to bring this up here too.

Is it possible to make a tank track in Carrara (one link and a polyline to put link mutiiples on).

In Hexagon, there is a tutorial that states that from one track link, you can make multiples that will go neatly around a closed poly line shaped like a tank track. Jan

GK, thanks, I downloaded the zip file. However the PDF is blank so I don't have a clue as how Carrara handles it. I read over the .TXT file hoping for some instructions buried within the code (code and I don not relate well together). Can you get me started on how Carrara works the plugin???? Jan

Did you down load the big, separate, pdf file.
(There is not a pdf in the zip!)
There is, also, a big movie showing how all works (In the tutes)

And, also to clarify--- It is now standard (C6 and 7) practice for the 3 files which make up a plugin (as in that zip) are pasted here, into this Carrara Extensions folder. Then, when you reopen Carrara, all should be as designed.
