Hi can anyone help me with the best PAL export settings ( frame rate, codec ,motion blur, etc.)for creating smooth motion of a fly through without the sparkles etc. Motion blur takes forever, is it also better to add any extras in an external program like final cut?

You need to talk to people wher eyour animation will be showed, to know size and frame rate, codec. Motion blur its a pain in Carrara yet, but you can do better now with multipass render applying  blur with your video editor.
