I'm in the assemble room, I add an object, try to move it with my mouse. Whichever arrow I grab (x, y, or z) the arrow moves, but the object doesn't. Does anyone know why?
I can move the object using the motion tab, but that's not realistic for setting up an entire scene. It does this with everything, objects, lights, terrain. The indicators move, but the selected object doesn't. I've restarted, and tried this over and over.
Have I screwed up a setting?

Well, don't ask me why this worked, but I switched to the rotation tool, it worked fine. I switched back to the movement tool, and now it works again!
Strange.

Try hitting caps lock once.

Sparrownightmare:
I think you are right. When I started typing my first post I saw that capslock was on. I turned it off to write the post. When I went back, it was off, and that's probably why it worked.
Good to know!
