Okay there is still light left in the scene even I set the values to zero and all the other lights are off..how do I get it to fade to zero or actually black?

Can you pop up a render to look at. Can't really trouble shoot this one without seeing it.

click "scene" in "instances". then ye'll see the above img.

o.k., glad to know it worked. a similar effect in poser is to change an universal lite to
a dark grey IBL. anyway, keep tryin' to stump the experts. I stumped 'em a few days ago :lol:
