I have scene created in Poser 7 that contains V4, a dynamic dress and the millenium enviromment and some props. The scene is set up with 30 frames and the simulation on the dress has been run. The whole scene was saved to a .pz3 file. I have verified all textures are listed in the .pz3.
When I use Transposer to load the scene, it seems Carrara can't find the textures.
I'm running Win XP Home, 2 gigs of ram, a Sempron Processor. Poser is updated to SR3, Carrara to 6.21 Pro. All my runtimes are external on a external drive L:, Poser and Carrara are on the same internal drive F:. My scratch disk is on C:

Do you use transposer regularly and Carrara usually sees the textures?
Can Carrara find the textures when you load directly one of your scene elements?

I received an answer on this from BetterThanLife over at the DAZ Carrara forum. It seems that Carrara can't handle the way that Poser saves things across multiple runtimes. The solution is to use 1 runtime or make all your relative references into absolute.
I found that the NATIVE import works better in this case than Transposer. I had to manually point it to a couple of .obj files, but other than that it loaded everything else. Of course, now I have to go and adjust all the textures, but that's a normal thing with Carrara.
