Is there a way to render the mesh only in Carrara?  I want to render the mesh, not materials or shaders.

Thanks for any advice.

You can turn to the Draft Render in the Render Room and render a wireframe from your mesh, or use draft or gouraud shade modes.

Thank you!

It won't render an exact mesh.  For that you will need the WireFrame Pro plugin.

The basic plugin sites for Carrara stuff---the sparrowhawke stuff is free!
(With these--at low cost--Carrara matches much of the best that some $5000 ap[ps can offer!)

Thank you Brian.  I agree that Carrara is outstanding.  With that and Hexagon who needs any other 3D app.

MoI and 3DCoat!

Hexagon I don't use any more--shame!  But my new app combination with Carrara is WOW great fun!

I cast my vote for 3DCoat as well! The free Truespace7.6 has nurbs and I'm coming to terms with using it for that, otherwise I would probably pick up MOI, or Rhino.
