Poser and DAZ Studio users could view their scenes in 3D stereo. It makes sense - since we create scenes in 3D, why not to view them in 3D? Here are two "how-to" videos that explain how to create and view your work in 3D:

For Studio: http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-48396527764316/DAZonly.wmv

Have fun!

Big Difference. These are not anaglyphs /blue/red glasses/ that give you a geadache.
These side by side images are viewed with parallel format 3D glasses, that are superior to the kiddie red/blue variety:-)

LOL. I just found this link. I had always done them the anaglyph way. but I'm wondering what is better after seeing all these different viewing glasses and gizmos at this site.

Actually I was thinking that polarized may be better for viewing so you don't have to print them out or see them in bigger print sheets and even book form if you wanted.

I'm in Canada so it's cheeper than that for me. But price was not the issue for me. The better viewing format is.

We did a thread at Daz with a bunc of sterio images that a bunch of us posted.

Yes, these are like polarized /gray striped/ kind - gives far superior 3D view right off your computer screen. The glasses are plastic and quite durable...

Or you can just cross your eyes.
Won't cost you a dime and you get
the same effect.

No you can't just cross your eyes unless you set the image up that way. I do it the opposite. I relax my eyes. My eyes don't hurt as much. That means you need to switch the images. So it depends on if you like to cross your eyes or relax your eyes on how you set it up. Which means one gets left out ofr has to see the effect work backwards.

So glasses would be the best way. Then anyone can look at them. As I said, stand alone glasses look to be the best way so you don't have to print out the images if you just want to look at them on your screen.

BTW the images that are posted in this thread are for those that relax thier eys. If you want to see them right cross eyed you need to switch the images right to left.
