Has there been any feedback on whether Poser Pro works with Carrara?

I have used Poser Pro with Carrara, but honestly, ever since C6 camer out, I have barely touched Poser since I can use all of my poser content directly in C6 Pro now.

Thank You! I was wondering if there were improvements from Poser7 and the compatiblity with Carrara6.
Unless there were noticable improvements, you are right. Not much sense in buying Poser Pro.

I haven't found anything in Poser that I can't do more easily and faster in C6 Pro.

Poser Pro is for a slightly different market. It's primarily for studios that need to get Poser content into C4D, Lightwave, Maya etc. It is essentially Poser 7 with a couple of small enhancements plus network and background rendering - a huge benefit if you run Poser. I picked up Poser Pro mainly for content creation and I can't get it to import to C6 Pro. Again Poser in general is pretty pointless if you have Carrara, but I'm wondering if anybody has had any luck importing from Poser Pro?

Importing from Poser has always been somewhat problematic for me. That's why I was so happy when C6 Pro came out...

Poser Pro (if you read the forums) still doesnt export that well to Maya and others...which upset a lot of people since they purchased it for the Poserfusion...I tried it without success so I went back to importing to C6.
Again I may be a total nooooobie but my animation renders in Carrara dont take that long and look as good as when I used to do renders that took hours in any other 3d app.

Carrara is a tasty package. Not perfect, but pretty adept at many things. ;-)

If it is essentially Poser 7 with a couple of small enhancements, can Carrara import Poser Pro files with the TransPoser with the help of Poser6?
How do you evaluate the normal map support ?
Is it good?
How about the professional animation?
Is it better than Poser7 animation layer?

IMO
Poser Pro is nothing more than Poser 7 with the "ability" to export to other 3d apps. IMO really nothing new or exciting.
