Ok I just bought a Daz figure to use in C6 Pro (do not have Poser). I am stuck on how to import it and all the files (textures, morphs, etc...) so I have the dials to work with and animate inside Carrara. Can someone help me.

If anyone has a link to a comprehensive tutorial on how to do this I would love to see it too. Right now the files I've downloaded are a mess and most don't show up in either Carrara or DAZ.

Your new runtime folder should now appear in the left hand browser list. Select it and you should find your content waiting for you.
You can add more content to the runtime folder anytime and C6 will see it when you next open it.
Try this, then post back if it doesn't appear.
note: until you know why the files are placed where they are, DO NOT REARRANGE the folders within your runtime.

Hi Sueposer -
I followed your directions and when I go to install it says the folder doesn't have any runtime files in it. Ok now I don't have Poser on my system so when I go to install tha Daz figure it asks for the application to associate it with (choices are Daz studio and a bunch of poser options). I chose "Poser (All Files)". Could this be the problem. I checked the runtime folder on my desktop and all the files are in there so I don't know why it won't recognize it.
Thanks for the help

Sueposer - ok got it to work - my fault. Now the figure has morph targets for the head but I can't seem to find them. Do you know where I should look?
Thanks

The association you chose (poser) is fine. I use it all the time.
The product that you downloaded should open up to show a folder named runtime inside it.
Does it?
If it does, navigate to that folder when the "add runtime" menu asks for it.
I tried it just now with a fresh file and it worked fine.

We cross-posted. Glad you got it working. Click on the figure's name or relevant body part and go up to the general properties tab. Click on the "misc" arrow. Morph sliders are found here.
To get a morph to go in the minus direction, you have to type in the number.
