I've got a new PC and it has an Itel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver in it. I have and intend to still use an ATI Radeon 9200 series graphics card but I wonder if this Intel Driver is more advantages to use or not. It does have extensive 3D set up parameters and so on and so on.
From what I know though and from what most 3D applications that I use recommend (Poser, Strata, Carrara, Bryce, Vue) my ATI Radeon and/or something along it's line of graphic card is the one to use.
Anyone have any notions on this?
Thanks
David

None of the applications you mention actually use or need any video card, except for the Open/GL capabilities while posing or setting up. For rendering the video card isn't used at all.
The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator has support for Open/GL. This has nothing to do with 3D as used in games and most graphics cards are geared towards games and ignore other uses. Your system might work with your applications and when it does there is no need for a graphics card.
