Is there a way to use dynamic clothes in Carrara? I've searched the forums and tutorials but came up with nothing.
Is it possible at all (I've no idea how to clothify the item in C6)?
I've thought of a workaround like doing the main work in Poser and then import the final scene (or better the frame of the simulation ) into C6, but I'm unsure how in the end I should do it.
Your help is highly appreciated, thank you!

If you find a way let all us know...hehehe
No dynamic cloth this time for C6... Daz had talked about a plugin for dynamic cloth in Daz Studio 2, and we hope that they port it to Carrara too... soon

This is the just about the only reason to use the Transposer plug-in for Carrara anymore. If you have the plug-in you can do your character animation, including cloth draping, in Poser and then open the file via Transposer in Carrara and render.

Yes, maybe SmithMicro open the SDK again to others... but I hope that Daz launch the dynamic cloths in Carrara soon, like hair its pretty faster then Poser hair simulation.

Thanks for your information on this topic.
Mark, I'll try your way tonight, thanks!
And I totally agree with you GKDantas, that Daz should release a plugin soon... very soon, actually.

Take care!

Carrara 6 and Dynamic Cloth. No Transposer required.

Thank you imagination304, that seems to be the perfect solution for this topic! I already was worried that I have to reinstall P6 for the use of Transposer, but now I can jump directly into my scene in C6P.
Thank you!!!!!!!

Well now we have dynamics in Carrara that can simulate cloth very easy using proxy objects (proxy are low poly objects to speed the dynamic calculation), we just need to work more about this idea. I didnt saw much animations using it for softbody.
