Hello Fellow Carrarians,
I am planning on purchasing C6 when the boxed version becomes available BUT ...
... in the meantime, I use C5 (5.1) but have a couple of problems ...
#1 - Using the vertex modeler - sometimes when trying to return to the Assemble Room, all I see is a cryptic note "preparing data ..." and the program hangs forever (?)
Has anyone else seen this condition? Is there any way out - other than aborting the program?
#2 - Again, in the vetex modeler - Trying to delete (tool or key) a single vertex or edge, a whole section of edges get deleted leaving only the vertices visible. Using the "Undo" works ok but is it not possible to delete a single vertex or edge?
Thanks for any insight you may have in these situations.
cheers,
dr geep

I used to have this problem when opening a file into the Assembly room. (It still does this for me with 6.0.3, so I'm still using 6.0.2) I made sure I removed all unused shaders and objects and also kept my Daz temp folder empty, and that helped.
You've probably tried these already, but that's the best I can offer. Hope it helps.

Sometimes C6 crash too... but clean your instances and almost everything will go OK. About a boxed version I think you will wait forever. Looks that Daz will not release more boxed versions for all softwares...

geep, welcome to the carrara forum. the experts will be able to help with this,
but if it's a known bug, it may be too late for them to patch it in c5. c6pro is
also slow for me at times, e.g. animation "scrubber" and loading poser figures.
