Immediately out of the box (figuratively), I notice that when I duplicate and object and then edit it (model or shader), I cannot create a new master (using the attached image of the dialogue box).
This is very annoying for a couple of reasons.
1.) I have to have the ability to create new masters off of old ones. Without it, I will go back to C5 and not touch C6 again.
2.) Such a bummer to find the new version doesn't work after only using it for 20 minutes.
Any help would be had.
Thanks,

Hi Kix, Make sure that you've updated to v6.0.3. Everything works as it's supposed to here. Mark

The update fixes this issue as far as I can remember. I encountered the same issue with the first version, in 6.0.3 I just duplicated an object, double clicked, and got the above box. With a new master object.

Had to completely uninstall and then reinstall. I only installed the 6.0.3 patch this time instead of both patches in sequence.
We'll see how it holds.

Did it work? Is there an option in C6 preferences to turn it back on like in C5?

Appears to be fixed for the moment.
