I'm finally getting around to updating my DCG and Inagoni plug-ins but I've misplaced all my serial numbers - I've downloaded the plugs I purchased (years ago) and I'm ready to load them into Carrara 6... is there a way to copy a file from Carrara5Pro to 6 to satisfy the serial number? Thanks for the help.

I've also realized I don't have Vectorstyle for Carrara6Pro, but I do have it installed for CP5, and can't find it anywhere - is Daz going to support it in Carrara6Pro?

E-mail Eric and Julien on thier direct line with your problem. I think you will be made happy.
You should find the answers to the Vectorstyle covered in the DAZ Carrara forum.

Has anyone had success with getting Vectorstlye for Carrara6Pro without purchasing it again? I have it as purchased with Daz for Carrara5, but do I need to purchase it again for 6 - that doesn't seem right. The other plug-ins don't work that way...

Have you looked in your available downloads?
Anyway contact Daz directly if it's not there.

Thanks Brian, but I just can't figure out Vectorstyle - it's not in my downloads and I can't find it to reset it... has anyone else been able to download it after purchase (prior to Carrara6Pro release)? A-kuro Digital plugs... does anyone know if he/she is still working on those plug-ins? There are some great plug-ins there - I want to try the "flock of birds" plug. I used Potentializer in the past, wish it was ready for C6Pro - if it could just identify the shape of the object skin instead of just the hotpoint - footprints would be a piece of cake!

I had gathered this Vectorstyle problem had been cleared up. You must contact DAZ directly.
Both A-Kuro and Associated FX seem to be dead. E-mails go unanswered. I would forget about them and concentrate on what can be done in the others. Especially the FREE Sparrowhawke ones--they are quite brilliant (He is an Aussie!!!!)

I'm trying them out - WOW! The drip is awesome! I tried to make several drips, the only way was to make one and duplicate/ replicate - but using an ocean primative and adding the drip to the bump channel only give me one drip - I'd like to see several (hundred), replicated across the surface - if it was to be animated, there would need to be different bump maps (with drip and a multiplier?) added... I'm not that far along yet. But I like the Shoestring shaders...

Did you see the two Shoestring plugins on beta? Have you downloaded all the tutes/pdfs/movies from Shoestring---and Sparrowhawke?

I haven't purchased a key for Shoestring but I'm thinking about it.

I went for it Brian. There is a load to learn with the shorstring shaders - my first fav is the drip - I work with the water animals so much that I want to animate raindrops and splashes - Have you been able to get the Super Mixer to work? I've downloaded the example files and looked at the shader channels, he just uses Add in the bump channel to add in the drips - should be able to use Super Mixer to add many, but Carrara freezes up when I try the Super Mixer. Running - OSX4.10 Carrara6Pro The tutorials ( sample files ) alone are worth the money to me to see how he did the water movement. I wish people would post more "files" online so we could share by disecting the file itself, that is how I learn best. Thanks for the tips, Robert

On Window C6Pro no problems that I can see.
Mark DesMarais keeps an eye on most sites but don't hesitate to email him directly. He is in the same category as our Mark here, Eric, Julian and Jeremy--our main plugin people make Carrara worthwhile --at 4 times the price!

There are many freebie "helper" things for Carrara---Mark may like to add these, just two, to the special thread--

Hi Ominous, There is an issue with Supermixer and the Mac OS. You're not imagining it. Mark
