If it is I am thinking of upgrading any suggestions.

I really need to be able to use my poser Pz3 file in it though.

Thanks Rowlando

Without doubt, you would be advised to get Carrara6, preferrably 6Pro, but, there is now Carrara3D Express, a current version of "Basics", but way, way ahead.
See the comparrison chart of the 3 versions at Daz.

I think a deal on Express is available untill the end of the month, but, even so, Try and afford C6 Standard or Pro if you can. Top grade 3D apps at bargain prices.

Hi Thanks

I will do, I guess I will have to buy Carrara express and the upgrade to pro, do you think I would need transporter for poser??

You do not have to buy both unless you tryout Express first. Not sure about Express, but you can download Poser/Daz stuff directly into the Carrara6 Runtime Browser. And C6Pro comes with the Transposer plugin.

I would think that, for many, Poser or Daz Studio Apps are not really a necessity anymore.  Guess it depends a lot on how you work.

Check out the comparrison charts before deciding.
