Does anyone know if a boxed version is coming? I just like a paper manual so I can figure out things when I am away from computer.

Mac total 980 mb in 4 files
And about a boxed version ..you better check @ DAZ and the forums about Carrara.

yes, they're gonna supply a boxed version once they fix the price for it. there will be an extra charge for that AFAIK, in case one has already downloaded it.

Don't count on a paper manual. The last few versions only had pdf files for manuals.
