C6 ghost menu is not showing.

In C5 I would just right click on a selected object to bring up a ghost menu allowing me to assign function to the object manipulators.

Right clicking an object in C6 does not bring it up.

How can I make the menu show up?

Thanks

Hi Frank, It's working here. :-/ What platform are you running on? This may be a graphics card issue with open GL. 1) You might try resetting the Preferences (found under the File pull down menu) That can fix a whole host of issues. 2) Try switching to the Software Renderer instead of the OpenGL in the the 3D view. I opened up C5 and see what you're talking about. Sorry for the confusion - I always use the other key board shortcuts for camera moves and didn't even notice that the right click options had been removed. So, it looks like your left hand may be getting a little more exercise than before. Incidently, those right-click camera moves can also be temporarily involked with combos like Control-Alt (PC) for zoom, Alt for rotate around selection etc.

the ghost menu is in the C6 help files, there is a picture of it. I just can't get it to show up.

It does show up in the Vertex Room, just not the Assembly Room.

That's why I hate upgrades for any program. I have to get accustomed to doing things differently - and I love to be comfortable doing things the same old way, day-to-day... ;)

A few of us asked over at Daz and supposedly "it was removed purposely"... I for one am very upset that it was removed, its removal totally changes my workflow =(

Selecting items from the menu is totally useless for me. Im hoping they expand on the ghost menu, overloading it w/ features and options much like in Hex 2.

Don't forget the customizable keyboard shortcuts. Virtually anything that is in a menu can be a shortcut. I do like the ability to click-and-hold and have all the objects near the mouse become selectable by name. That's great on comples scenes.
