I'm getting into painting - I like the ability to work "big" - but finding out I don't have enough wall space for what I'm putting out. This a composition work-up for a 3x5 foot piece I'm starting soon - salmon in a herring school. Waiting for C6 to come out... looking forward to the fur/hair! Just wanted to share.

Beautiful light you got in there! I understand you are going to paint this by hand? Old skool analog dirty hands stylee? With real paint?

Love the lighting and the feel of this! We fished for salmon on the mouth of the Columbia last week and caught our limits. Nothing like a good salmon feast!

very cool. i tried to do something like this once in photoshop using digital element aurora2 plugin but that was a real bear.  so is the water and beams somekinda "underwater" realistic sky setup?  please reveal! thx...

Thanks for all the positive comments. This really was easy. It is the same fish - boned, imported four times and posed. The small herring are multi-replicated on a terrain - the terrain is not visible... There is a bulb above the fish and a spot with light cone enabled - that's it. I was surprised at how much I liked it - the cone is shinning through the fish just so... but it kind of happened haphazardly. Thanks again -
