Hey peoples :)

So whats the deal w/ the Poser figures materials/names being blank in the C5Pro Shader Tree?!? All updates, w/ transposer 2... Am I doing something wrong or does anyone else have this problem?!?

Also, how come some of my imported Poser figures bump maps are maxed out to 100%?!? Is there anyway I can control that or do I have to go thru the entire figure, material by material to adjust this.

Thanks :)

This is not a direct answer, but the basic principle of Transposer is that because of the connection, you do your modifications of the Poser item in Poser and get the direct ablity for that modification  referred back for access into Carrara.

You work back and forwards between the two apps. Dont forget that problems are associated with Poser7.

Ah...

I stopped using the "keep link to Poser file" feature due to numerous and frequent crashing. I find that C5 works much smoother (more reliable) w/o the back and forth.

However, it happens to figures that are saved in Poser w/ their bumps turned down to zero, its the maxing it out once in C5 that I dont get.

The figures getting their names material zone names blanks happens ALL the time, but the figures getting their bump maps maxed out happens only "some" of the time...

Just pulled in some imports at different settings, for sure its ME disabling the "keep link to Poser file" feature....................

Hearing how you keep the link open tipped me off, thanks :)
