** Apollo Maximus****: The Free 3D Human Figure: 2007 Release**

Free Poser Downloads include free 3D models, free Poser body morphs, free Poser face morphs, free poses, free 3D clothing library, free Poser python scripts,  free Poser light sets, free Poser face room module, free Poser face poses, free Poser character poses, free figure texture maps, free clothing textures, & more.

It is with sincere pleasure and gratitude that the Apollo Maximus human 3D figure is provided free to the 3D and digital art communities, including most of all, the Poser 7 and Daz Studio 3d art communities. It is my hope Apollo Maximus, as a free download, will assist in the interest and growth of the 3D, 2D, and CGI digital mediums.

Apollo Maximus, the optimal Poser figure and Daz Studio figure.

Apollo Maximus is a polymesh 3D model that has been designed, and rigged, to take the fullest advantage of the 3D figure rendering software packages, Poser 4, Poser 5, Poser 6, Poser 7, Poser Figure Artist and Daz Studio.

This free download is a complete collection of polymesh 3D models, graphic texture maps, material shaders, python scripts, Poser light sets, poses, face files, and Poser 6 render settings. Contains in this figure package is everything a 3D artist, using Poser or Daz Studio software, will need to create hundreds of unique and interesting human and non human characters of various shapes, weights, ethnicities, genders, and ages. Unlike any other 3D freebie ever offered, Apollo Maximus represents the highest level of quality and is a complete 3D human figure solution absolutely free.

Not only does he feature the highest quality in modeling, morphing, texturing, scaling and bending, Apollo Maximus is the most resource friendly, efficient, and fastest 3D human figure of its kind. Attention to every aspect of resource management ensures not only the highest level of results in 3D software rendering, but also the best in management of memory, storage, and system resources when compared to comparable human figures used in either Poser 6, Poser 7, or Daz Studio; either male or female, comics or virtual.

Poser and Daz Studio 3D Figure Morphs, Scaling, Shaping, Expression, and Human Phoneme Dials.

Apollo Maximus features the most diverse and flexible range of 3D figure shaping morphs and human expressions. All morph targets are fully reversible, unlike other 3D human figures for Poser and Daz Studio. Each morph creates a realistic and uniquely functional shape variation at both positive and negative vales. Apollo Maximus can be morphed from male to female, boy to girl, and even old to young.

In addition, this 3D polymesh figure boasts the best scaling flexibility far beyond any other Poser or Daz Studio figure available. Apollo Maximus be can reliably scaled from adult to child, thin to heavy and dwarf to hulk. Separate from the morph targets, by taking advantage of Poser and Daz Studio scaling parameters, Apollo's original scaling system allows shape alternatives that can be easily saved for future 3D projects and rendering.

Besides containing the most powerful range of virtual human shaping tools, both for Poser or Daz Studio, they are available free within this free figure suite; preloaded and remarkable easy to use. Apollo stands alone among free 3d humans & free content for Poser & Daz Studio. Create the custom Poser figure character of your choice. The Apollo Maximus free poser download includes all the free body morph, free head morphs, and free character dials listed below.

** Fun & Easy Free Poser Python Scripts and Free Daz3D Studio Python Scripts**

The Apollo Maximus free 3D download links below also features a powerful collection of free Poser Python scripts that can be run on Poser figure content files for use in 3D figure software Poser or free Daz Studio, from Daz3d. These free Poser Python scripts install within the Poser Python Folder, though they may be run outside of Poser for use on content for Daz Studio. Python must be downloaded and installed.

MultiplyMorphPose.py: Two scripts that work inside Poser and outside Poser. This script allows the user to load figure face/expression poses, or .pz2 files containing figure morph settings, and increase or decrease the overall strength of the entire morph pose by any desired percentage. This free Poser/Daz3D Python script writes a new pose to folder, placing it next to the original with the strength amount added to the end of the file name. This script works on ApolloMaximus 2007 ADS Character poses for use in Poser or in Daz Studio.

SetMorphDialTrackingScale.py: Two scripts that work inside Poser and outside Poser. This script allows the user to load .cr2 files and define a standard sensitivity value which will be applied to all Morph dials only. Default value is .04 The script writes a new Cr2 to folder, placing it next to the original with the label "MOD" added to the end of the file name. This Python script can alter cr2 files for use in Daz3d Studio.

DefineFigureNumber.py: This script allows the user to load any cr2 and then enter a number in a dialog box. All internal references to the figure number ( example Figure 16, rshin:16) are all search and changed to the new figure number regardless of original value. This Python script can alter cr2 files for use in Daz3d Studio.

These free Poser file format utility scripts are provided free to download, but are still copyright protected and must not be used to create new scripts or redistributed in any way, shape or form. These scripts come with Read Me documents and are very easy to use. This flexibility is shared free to download for both Poser 3D software content and Daz Studio free software by Daz3d.

Free Conforming / Morphing FX Facial Appliances for 3D Monsters, Demons, Zombies, Aliens, and Virtual Creatures.

The Apollo Maximus free Poser figure downloads include Apollo's FX Facial Appliances. These free Poser downloads are a collection of free conforming 3d figures that emulate prosthetic foam latex facial appliances used in the movie makeup industry.

Poser monster morphs or Daz3d figure creature morphs can be expensive. Several years ago I created the original Daz3D Morphing Face Mask conforming figures, as well as the rest of the original "Morphing Fantasy" line of clothing for Daz3D figure Victoria. Since then no 3D progress or expansion of my concept evolved since I created the original conforming daz character face mask design. Those masks were simple conforming skin planes that morphed to match the Daz figure morphs. Apollo's free conforming/morphing masks are much more.

Apollo's free conforming figures match his morphs removing the need for extra monster morphs and creature morphs. Each Poser figure mask accepts any Apollo Maximus figure texture seamlessly. And Poser Material, Daz Studio shader, or texture map that can be applied to Apollo can also be applied to each free 3d head figure. The surface of each 3d model seamlessly fits to the polymesh surface of Apollo's face morphs allowing a incredible range of custom Poser and Daz3D Studio characters, monsters, and creatures.

Whether the medium is 3d fantasy art, 3d comics, horror, or sci-fi alien, each of the free conforming figures morphs to match Apollo's face morphs. Truly innovative and vastly powerful, these free conforming character face appliances are as fun as they are versatile. These masks are not compatible with Apollo's free Poser 6 and free Poser 7 Face Room download.

Poser and Daz Studio 3D Conforming Clothing, Costumes, and Human Hairstyles.

Apollo Maximus also features the most flexible range of free 3D polymesh Poser clothing models containing all of all morph targets scale dials found in Apollo Maximus. All polymesh free figure clothing will scale and morph within Poser and Daz Studio to match your custom shaped 3D male or 3D female characters for Apollo Maximus. The Epic Clothing Library is exquisitely UV mapped for minimal texture map distortion during 3D rendering.

Unlike some collections of Daz Studio/Poser clothes free or commercial  for other 3D human figures, each volume of free clothing within Apollo's Epic Clothing Library can be mixed and matched to create dozens of different virtual character costumes. This free 3D clothing bundle ensures you will always have a reusable collection of dynamic fashion for your Apollo Maximus figure characters whether male, female, realistic, cartoon, fantasy, adult, girl, boy, teen or child. This remarkable figure flexibility is shared in both Poser and Daz Studio.

These free Poser clothes include free texture templates, free clothing texture maps, and free Poser 6 shader materials.  Whether you prefer software from e frontier or Daz free male figure clothing has never been this flexible. See Poser/Daz free download links below (free poser download Part 5, Part 6 & Part 7).

Use Winzip. Unzip them one at a time. No no batch processing. And you should be fine. Several thousand successfully unzipped them so you should be able to.

Perhaps when you downloaded it didn;t download the last few bytes. You could try again. If that is the only zip you are having trouble with, just redownload.

If you are having trouble with all fo them, it is likely the method.

Cheers. And you can post over in the APollo forum at CP if you need more help. Noone will see your post here.

I see this is just your very first post at Renderosity. Cheers. Pop over to CP if you need help.

Anton,

First off, let me express gratitude for the freebie.. pretty sure that didn't come across on my first posting here.  Yes, it is my first forum post, but not my first posting (put up some artwork a wee while ago).  Also I'm hardly new to this zip stuff.. to be honest I started with pkarc back in 86.  The method I've been using is rather simple.  First d/l attempt was using IE6 in Win2kAdvSrv.  Winrar was used there and it did complain about unexpected end of file errors.  Admittedly, I was downloading them 4 at a time then.  As for unrar'ing I did that one at a time. The second attempt was using IE7 under XPPro64.  This time, one file at a time.  All three clothing files and the base file reported errors when unrar'ed one at a time.  Lastly, I downloaded the latest winzip and tried that, same errors on all recently downloaded and previously downloaded files.

I'll keep trying with the smaller files.

P.S. Future posts will be in the CP forums.

**Free James Bond Character for Poser and Daz Studio

This was a really fun group project we all did over at the Apollo forum**. Multiple people contributed their various faces and body poses and I combined them to create this wonderful Apollo celebrity character. Check out the CP thread to see all of who was involved and how it progressed!

The download is on Apollo's Download Page just under the core file download links. I started a new and hopefully growing section. Check out all the other great freebies while you are there.

This character includes a ADS Character pose, a new face map to work with Apollo's maps, and a Poser6 material shader. Passoword is on the page and the same as Apollo's downloads.

  1. Load Apollo
  2. Turn off IK
  3. Apply ADS Pose
  4. Apply Material Room Shader.
  5. Enjoy!

Sorry his bits are just hanging there. But I thought peole would want to see the body.
Thanks to all the great people in the thread who contributed. Onto Bruce Willis!!

Neat project! I was wondering do you want to encourage people to make add on items for sale or are you just wanting all things Apollo related to be free? I was wondering because of some of the wording in terms and conditions.

PowerPose is DAZ Studio specific and if so then I'm not sure Anton can help with that.  I haven't played around with it enough to know what all it can do and what it's limitations are... i.e. Apollos hands....

Ah, now I see what you are getting at.  It seems PowerPose works but only for the wrist, thumb and finger tips.  For some strange reason when selecting the knuckle and mid finger points the individual toes are selected!!  Very odd to me!!   When selecting points at the foot your foot arch works fine but the top foot point moves only the little toe!!  Yea, really odd!!

Sorry, I can't help you out and since DAZ does not officially support Apollo you are SOL I'm afraid.

bonestructure posted Sun, 27 April 2008 at 12:05 PM

A female Apollo would be great, cause frankly, apart from Thorne's fairys, which I love, I absolutely hate the female poser figures, and I especially hate Vicky. I use Poser to make figures to import into Max. I really wish someone would make a reasonably attractive female figure with small breasts and clothing that would conform to a small breast size. The new Poser hair doesn't do me a hell of a lot of good either, since it doesn't import into Max.

Some good hair for Apollo would be good, though.
