I opend a pozer file (Victoria 2) in Carrara 5 Pro and saved it as obj, then imported that into Deep Paint 3d. The result is very ugly and looks only vaguely like the Carrara version. Eyes and eybrows black and inaccurate, clothes with chunks missing, and image angular and not smoothe. Part of this seems related to some issue address here in connection with Bryce: http://www.petersharpe.com/Tutorial29.htm Can I remedy this in Carrara? Thanks, James

If you look at other threads.
Were you trying to import Poser7?
Was it right IN POSER befor you saved for Carrara.
Which method did you use to import into Carrara?
Did you have light through transparency checked in Carrara?
Was the result as a Carrara save OK?
Save as that good Carrarra as  .car
Open that good .car file and save THAT as a .obj or .3ds.

Just ideas to think on.
