Hello,
Does anyone have any idea how to do this in Carrara? The attached animation was done in 3ds max.
I have made several attempts but I cannot duplicate the animation. I thought that Cognito from Digital Carvers Guild could do it but Eric say it could not.
Any thoughts?

If the IK target is used, this movement is possible. http://carrara.eek.jp/data/mov/crank03.gif (I can't attached the file...) 1. Select Bone 1 and click Bone 3 with Create IK chain tool. 2. Adjust the constraint of Bone 1 and Bone 2 Sample animation.(QuickTime H.264) http://carrara.eek.jp/data/mov/crank03s.mov Sachiko

Hey Mike, I did some animation like this in Carrara a couple of years ago. You can see it in the multimedia section of my website: www.zavalastudio.com. If I still have the original file I could send it your way if that would be helpful.

The link you posted was to the GIF file not the Carrara file...can you post the Carrara file?

Very cool, Sachiko! Did try to do a wing with that rigging? Looks like you can make a wing unfold.
