At least we'll able to collapse and/or export out primitive booleans in B6.0. It's a step. It will help out also in some of my building when I had really wanted to be able to boolean a boolean...with another boolean, lol.

The only complaint of DAZ I've ever understood is time. Everyone is impatient and wants a killer Bryce yesterday, (even me, lol).
Otherwise, I'm very happy with what DAZ is doing with Bryce.
I mean I understand the time issue. People of course compare Bryce with Vue and DAZ with e-on.
e-on has had an advantage of always owning their product, where DAZ has to catch up while needing to work at making Bryce's code something they could actually build upon.
e-on makes Vue, and a couple other products that work with Vue. DAZ has their entire huge Figure side of the company...then development of Studio...Bryce...Mimic and now Carrara & Hexagon. Along with doing work with Newtek and helping out with the Dick Van Dyke children's book. And, I've never been shown that DAZ is that big of a company to boot.
Etc, etc...
I'm impressed with what work they have done. Obviously we all want even better Brycing faster than what is happening, yet I think to be a Bryce user, you already have a good amount of patience, lol.
All in all...time will tell, always does. :o)

Yeah, that's the best thing Bryce has going for it now. A company that wants to hold on to it, and are always talking about it in terms of what they want for the next version, and the next.

Sounds kinda like they might just need to either get a centralized program development facility, re-organize their programming department and it's workflow, or simply expand their army of programmers... Having TONS of work to do for impatient clients just begging for you to do more every single day sounds like a good reason to expand to me...

I would bet after buying out Bryce, and Carrara, and Hexagon that they are exapnded, yet even more careful about what money is being spent.
I did notice their "Employee Bio" page is about twice the size now that it used to be.

Some of you had already seen it from the DAZ Bryce Forum;
My question is whether any plans to enable us to export our models from Bryce for use elsewhere?
Yes. We already have several import/export plug-ins in development for Bryce 5.5. But please feel free to suggest your favorite formats and then we will create a poll. These can be developed rather quickly and indepedently of Bryce 5.5 so your direction will produce results either at release time or shortly thereafter.
