I've been reading tutorials and trying lots of things, but each time I click render it begins rendering, but in each frame the clouds are in the exact same place. Can someone help me here?

You're talking about the clouds in the Sky Editor?

As Mark asked, it really depends on which clouds you are asking about. Sky Editor, Realistic Sky, or the volumetric clouds.
All of them are animatable. The two sky editors are pretty straight forward. The Volumetric clouds require some poking around in the Master Object in the sequencer. From there you will find most of the attributes from the cloud editor dialog. Just create keyframes by adjusting the values at different times on the timeline.

I was in the sky editor, I wasn't aware of a second editor. I found a workaround by just moving the camera to get the clouds to appear to be moving, but I know you can do it other ways, I'll try changing sky settings on different key frames like you say and see what happends. I know it's basic knowledge, but a tutorial on this would be nice for newbs like me.
